Jeroen Slop

Football Finance
Jeroen Slop is a seasoned financial executive with over 20 years as CFO of Ajax Amsterdam, a role he held from 1998 to 2019. A graduate of the University of Amsterdam with degrees in Economics and Accountancy, he began his career at Ernst & Young before holding senior finance positions in the oil industry in Amsterdam, Singapore, and Hamburg. At Ajax, he was closely involved in the club’s stock market listing and worked extensively with UEFA on Financial Fair Play matters, while also overseeing operations such as matchday management, security, and supporter relations. Jeroen is known for building one of Europe’s most stable football finance models during his tenure. Since 2019, he serves as a Supervisory Board member for professional football, and finance at the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB).
